Follow-up appointment with pediatrician

Ben had a follow-up today, which went well. His O2 level was 97, respiratory rate was 35 (which is still a little high), and ear infections were cleared up. He still has a productive cough, and we've got another day on the steroids and Albuterol nebulizer every six hours (though we've yet to wake him up at night to give him any treatments). We got referrals for both a certified asthma educator as well as an allergist. Now we just have to line up appointments with them to see what the best path is. Ben's pediatrician suggested an inhaled steroid for the fall/winter, but we're holding off on that for now to see if things clear up on their own. We're anxious to meet with some other experts to see what their thoughts are, but in the meantime Ben is pretty healthy and happy and playful...
