This was taken at CMMC upon arriving. The pediatrician sent us as a direct admission, so we got settled and Ben got some breathing treatments right away.
The next morning, after a very rough night. This was when we were waiting for the ambulance from Barbara Bush Pediatric Hospital to pick him up. Probably just about the sickest we saw him during the past few days. Very scary...
We caught a glimpse of Ben on the gurney surrounded by his crew arriving at Maine Med. As I mentioned, Ben was giving high-fives so that put smiles on our faces... It was nice to see that, especially after being told I couldn't ride in the ambulance with him.
